Compliance

How we keep the exchange transparent, fair, and responsible.

Lead Sourcing

Leads are sourced from public federal bankruptcy docket data and direct filer submissions. Every filer is asked to sign a voluntary acknowledgment that they are willing to retain paid bankruptcy counsel. Without that acknowledgment, the lead is not listed on the board.

Redaction and Privacy

Full names and contact numbers are redacted on the public board. They are disclosed only to the attorney who completes payment for a lead. We do not display sensitive personal information to unauthenticated users or to attorneys who have not purchased a lead.

Attorney Responsibilities

Purchasing attorneys are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and professional rules, including state bar advertising and solicitation regulations, the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and any rules governing attorney-client relationships. Leads may not be resold, shared, or used for any purpose other than direct representation of the referred individual.

First-Come, First-Serve

Leads are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Claiming a lead reserves it only temporarily; the lead remains on the board until payment is processed. This ensures fair access while protecting filers from stale or abandoned claims.

Consumer Protection

We do not provide legal advice, guarantee outcomes, or hold ourselves out as a law firm. Filers are informed that Pro se Leads is a referral service and that any attorney-client relationship is formed directly with the attorney they choose. We also disclose that Chapter 13 re-filing options may involve low or no upfront attorney fees, with fees typically rolled into the monthly trustee payment plan.
